I am thankful for...

Today I started thinking about how Thanksgiving is coming up and about what I am most thankful for in my life. Usually on a daily basis, I focus on life's frustrations. Things like people being bad drivers, having lots of homework and not enough hours, frustrating situations with people and obviously all sorts of life's little mishaps. So now I want to just take the time to write down some of the things that I am most thankful for in my life!

  • My Parents- Milly and Bobby are pretty much the shizz when it comes to parents. They are my biggest fans and I am so thankful to call them Mom and Dad. I don't think I can think of all the ways they are so awesome.
  • Jesse-Little Man is not only a cool little bro, he's also just a great guy. I am so proud of him. He knows what the right thing to do is and never thinks twice about doing it. I hear stories all the time about how special he makes people feel and I just can't believe he's the same kid that pushed me off the back of the couch.
  • Taylor-Without being too mushy, he's basically my favorite person ever. Mainly because he knows how weird I am and yet he still hangs around. I am thankful for the time we get to spend together, even if it never feels like enough.
  • Vic & Sarah-These two are the best people on the face of the planet. Sarah is always so sweet and caring and willing to help with whatever plans may come up. And Vic is the best cook. Ever. End of story. I am thankful for the laughs and fun times these two have provided! Oh and for getting married so I could meet Taylor.
  • I am also thankful for the things that frustrate me. They are slowly teaching me patience and maybe one day I won't let some of those things bother me as much as they do now.
  • There are lots of other things that make me stop and appreciate them, but in my true scatterbrained head...I can't think of them currently.
It is now 12:01 am on Wednesday so this means that there are officially TWO days until I get my Aggie Ring. I am so excited and I cannot wait until I have it on my finger and then until I DUNK it!

Shoutouts and Callouts Round 2

I haven't done this in a while. Mainly because I forget before I can sit down and write! But anyways, I thought I would do another "Shoutouts and Callouts" because I have quite a few to cover!

*People who don't wear shoes on campus. HOW GROSS. Didn't your mothers ever tell you about hook worms? Mine did! And then she told me she wasn't going to take me to the Dr. once I got them from going barefoot outside. Seriously people, it aint healthy and I'm judging you.
*Homework. Come on professors, I don't know if you know this but I'm not going to school to do homework. Gross.
*Laundry.  When I'm looking through my closet in the mornings, I don't feel like I have that many clothes...but when it comes out of the dryer it's like I'm swimming in it! Wouldn't it be nice if it could just fold itself?

And now, to end on a happy note...

*I would like to give a shout out to my awesome cousins, Sarah and Vic! Next Saturday is my ring dunk and they have graciously opened their home and helped me plan the sweetest dunk ever! I am so excited! *Also, Vic just got a new job as something with a lot of acronyms! They gave him a BlackBerry and everything so I'm thinking it's a pretty big deal :)
* My mom. She really is my best friend, she lets me call her and vent and say whatever I feel like I need to without judgement. And she cooks me anything I want and does my laundry when I'm home. I don't think you can ask for much more!

P.S. Only 10 more days until I have a shiny gold ring!
