It's almost midnight on Sunday night and I'm still awake. Why you may ask? Because I forgot to do laundry until an hour ago. Now, if I was on top of tasks such as laundry this may not be a big deal. However, I was lazy enough to let ALL of the clothes I wear on a daily basis pile up to the point that I truly didn't have anything left to wear. I'm so mature.
This past week I started my new job as a Teacher's Aide. It was such a great opportunity and so far it's been fun. I do have to say though, it's the hardest thing I've ever done. And I'm just the aide! I came home and took a 2-hour nap every single day the past week. I'm not sure why, but it's been really hard to let go of my college schedule of going to bed around 2 and waking up whenever I feel like it. Being a grown up is tough, man.
On Saturday, I wanted to go to Canton. This is the first weekend all year long that I haven't been out of town doing something on the first of the month when the monthy First Monday trade days are held. I didn't think we were going to get to go because Mom had a prior commitment, but once it was over, we made a last minute decision to head East. It was fun of course and as always...very entertaining. We weren't there even 10 minutes before I saw a 60 year old woman wearing spandex shorts. When I say shorts though, I want you to picture bikini cut shorts. I also saw a two-seater motorscooter.
Mom and I have visited Canton once a year in the past 3 years and always in October. It just seems to be the one time it works out. I just don't see how people go almost every month! The same booths are there every single month and I'm sure there's only so many sights! It's lots of fun though to go with Mom. We don't ever buy much but we have fun people watching and shopping.
I'm hoping this next week isn't as tiring, because as much as I love napping, I'm just not getting anything accomplished after I get home from school. Which is why I'm still up waiting for the laundry to finish.
